Following last year’s epic 25th Anniversary celebrations, Western Australia’s beloved springtime musical adventure, Blues at Bridgetown, returns for 2018 with a weekend’s worth of good times and great sounds to ease your soul and mind from Friday-Sunday, November 9-11.
The atmosphere is fabulous with the Festival taking over the town for the weekend. This year’s line up features a great range of internationally acclaimed artists as well as loads of exciting up & coming artists including The Black Sorrows, Russell Morris, Busby Marou, Emily Barker, the Turner Brown Band, Tashi, 19-Twenty . . . and one of our favourites – Bridgetown local Mary Myfanwy! In fact there are over 50 artists, more 120 musicians and over 145 hours of performances!
Check out the Blues website for more details.
There’s four ticketed venues with jam packed line-ups over the three days, however there’s plenty of great music on offer all weekend in ‘free venues’ and the Saturday market stalls are open to everyone!
Better still . . . it all happens just 20 minutes south of Balingup which means you can retreat back to the peace and tranquillity of your own Cottage on the hill!
We still have a one bedroom Cottage available so if you feel like indulging in a weekend of great music give us a call on 08 9764 1283.
