Cancellation Policy

Please note our cancellation policy.

We require a single night deposit to secure your booking. This is not refundable. We understand that you may have reason to cancel your booking. In the unfortunate event of an early cancellation, we wish to do everything possible to assist you. As such, we would be pleased to transfer your deposit to a future booking subject to availability.

Cancellations made within seven days of the booking will result in the total deposit being forfeited, unless we can secure another booking.

Unfortunately if you cancel within 24 hours of the booking, the total tariff is payable unless we can secure another booking. Failure to arrive at Balingup Heights will be treated as a no-show and the full tariff will be forfeited.

This policy amendment deals specifically with COVID-19.

We ask that Balingup Heights Hilltop Forest guests comply with all Government (Federal and State) COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements prior to their stay. Where a guest does not meet a vaccination or testing requirement prior to departure from the guest’s home location, the guest will forfeit any and all monies paid.

Where a guest cancels due to travel restrictions other than vaccination or testing requirements, the guest will be contacted and offered a refund (if residing outside of Western Australia) or a credit note (if residing in Western Australia, to be used at a later time within 12 months), where such an offer is at the absolute discretion of Balingup Heights Hilltop Forest Cottages. Balingup Heights Hilltop Forest Cottages reserves the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses, in-line with the standard Balingup Heights Hilltop Forest Cottages Cancellation Policy dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the guest.

• Check-in is from 2.00pm, Check-out is by 10.30am.
• Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated at Balingup Heights.
• Balingup Heights’ Cottages are all non smoking.
• Any damage, breakages, theft and loss other than the usual wear and tear associated with a short-term rental, are your responsibility (as tenants) during your stay.
• On departure, we ask that your Cottage be left in a similar state to its condition upon your arrival.
