The first week of spring is looking a lot like winter, however we’re rejoicing in the additional rain as the dams continue to fill after a few dry months.
The deciduous trees in the region, including the rows of fruit trees, are starting to blossom, and within the next few weeks the fruit orchards will transform yet again, displaying delicate rows of pink and white blossom. Small green buds will follow with the promise of a generous harvest ahead.
The days are noticeably longer, and the early mists still provide a spectacular awakening each morning. The native bird life is enjoying the abundant offerings provided by the spring wild flowers. There are so many great walks to enjoy, or you can just sit back and take it all in from your balcony. A great time to experience the magic of Balingup.
